Daniele Li Volsi - About Me
I live and work in Palermo. My journey in photography began with film, studying and practising until I could create the images I envisioned. I shot dozens of rolls of film, many in black and white, to refine my craft and develop a distinctive style.
Film to Digital
In 2008 I embraced digital photography with a Nikon camera, marking the start of a new adventure that continues to lead me to explore different worlds and perspectives.
Photography and Videography
Alongside photography, I developed a passion for video. Today I create:
• Reportage photography
• Videos of dance, theatre and classical music performances
• Corporate video productions
Teaching and Workshops
As an instructor, I have led photography courses with local associations and organised workshops to share techniques and approaches with emerging photographers.
My Style and Approach
Over the years I have explored many techniques, from still life and light painting to studio portraiture. What I value most is reportage photography, which allows me to capture the essence and emotions of the people and stories I work with.
